Montreal is truly an experience: old world charm, French joie de vivre and a modern style all its own.
The old city and its attending port are literally a five-minute walk from downtown. During the day much shopping gets done in the shops along Saint-Paul and Notre-Dame Streets, and at night jazz clubs, bars, pubs and boîtes à chansons—friendly bars given over to the singing of French folk songs—rock late and loud.
From Old Montreal, all roads south lead to the Old Port and an up-close-and-spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River. As you stand on the shores of this mighty waterway, you'll see why the fur trading post established here by a group of French settlers in 1611 grew to become North America's largest commercial hub.

With the mission of bringing visitors to know and love the Montreal as it was and is and exhibiting the city's archaeological and historical heritage, Pointe-à-Callière is involved in conservation, research, outreach, educational and other activities. In addition to a number of permanent exhibitions, it offers a constantly changing program of temporary exhibitions and cultural activities, along with educational programs that are extremely popular with young people.
The Museum owes its existence largely to the significant archaeological discoveries made on the site during the 1980s. In fact, the Museum and its site are inextricably linked. Rising above evidence of more than 1000 years of human activity, it houses remarkable architectural remnants, displayed in situ with respect for their integrity, along with hundreds of artifacts.
Tremblant offers a veritable paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. You will find an interesting variety of accommodations, activities, and culture to satisfy all tastes.
Explore accessories and perfume shops, grocery and specialty shops, gift shops, bookstores, art galleries, clothing and sporting goods, and more.

Mount Royal is a very special part of Montreal’s heritage. Its landscapes, flora, fauna and history make it an exceptional place to visit.
The Biodôme is an oasis in the heart of the city, the Montreal Biodôme recreates some of the most beautiful of the Americas:
- the lush and humid Tropical Forest, warm even in the depths of a Montreal winter;
- the Laurentian Forest, changing with the seasons;
- the St. Lawrence Marine Ecosystem, replicating the Estuary and the Gulf;
- and the Polar Worlds of the Arctic and Antarctic.
